Delivery Mystery – Short Indie Horror Delivery Game with Multiple Endings

Delivery Mystery is a bite-sized indie horror-comedy experience that turns a routine late-night food delivery job into something deeply unsettling. Created solo by Maximillium during Scream Jam 2024, this game is available for free (or pay-what-you-want) on itch.io and has quickly become a favourite among fans of short, replayable horror titles.

You play as a delivery driver working for Burgensity in the strangely ordinary city of Deskadia. Your shift involves picking up four burger orders and dropping them off to increasingly bizarre customers before time runs out. What starts as a simple gig quickly spirals into awkward conversations, creepy houses, and choices that lead to five very different endings.

Effortless Controls in Delivery Mystery

Super straightforward – no complicated combos needed.

  • Move: W / A / S / D
  • Interact / Pick up: E
  • Flashlight toggle: F
  • Advance dialogue: Space
  • Close inspection view: G
  • Adjust mouse sensitivity: O (lower) / P (higher)

How to Play Delivery Mystery

  • Start your shift at Burgensity restaurant and talk to Bobby to receive orders.
  • Drive the delivery van around the open (but small) map using the minimap to locate customer houses.
  • Park, enter each house, interact with the resident, hand over the burger, and observe/explore.
  • Return to the restaurant before the ~22-minute timer expires.
  • Choices, exploration depth, and secret items determine which of the five endings you unlock.
  • After finishing once, the main menu tracks your progress with small visual clues on the road.

Useful Tips for First Playthrough

  • Always turn on the flashlight in dark rooms – some items and scares are easy to miss otherwise.
  • Explore every house fully before leaving; hidden notes and objects often hint at the weirder endings.
  • Don’t rush deliveries – the timer is generous if you avoid getting lost.
  • For the secret “true” ending, try to find all seven Burgeriax collectables scattered around the map.
  • If you want to see everything quickly, search for “Delivery Mystery ending guide” after your first run (many players share spoiler-free checklists).

Delivery Mystery nails the feeling of “something is very wrong here” while keeping things light and funny enough to play multiple times in one sitting.

If you enjoy short horrors like 99 Nights In The Forest, Five Nights At Diddy’s, grab it on Yoplay.io  tonight – maybe don’t play at 3 a.m. if you’re alone.
